Data notice

What is published, and what is not

The printed souvenir contains home addresses, mobile numbers, dates of birth and personal email addresses for several hundred people. Those were given in 2008 for a book that circulated inside one graduating class. That is not the same as publishing them on the open web, so they are not published here.

On this site

  • Name, as the souvenir prints it
  • Portrait photograph
  • Branch and page number
  • The testimonial written by classmates
  • Group photographs and scanned pages
  • Home town only — the city, never the address

Deliberately withheld

  • Mobile and landline numbers
  • Full postal address
  • Date of birth
  • Personal email address

These are absent from the published files entirely, not hidden with styling. Nothing in the page source contains them.

Having your entry changed or removed

You do not have to give a reason. Email hello@rahuljain.io with your name and, if you have it, the page number. Removals are actioned within seven days; corrections are applied against the original scan, which sometimes takes a little longer because the scan has to be re-read.

The same address takes corrections to a name, a photograph or a testimonial that the machine transcription got wrong.

Search engines

Profile pages are indexable, so searching for a name may lead here. That is deliberate — the point of the archive is that a classmate looking for themselves can find it — but it is also why the contact details above are withheld. If you would rather your page were not listed, email the address below and it will be removed from search and from the sitemap.
