The short version
I collect as little as possible. No third-party tracking cookies, no ad networks, no fingerprinting. Page views are counted anonymously, and the only things stored on your device are your theme preference and your choice on the cookie banner.
What gets stored on your device
- Theme preference — light or dark, in
localStorageso the site honours your choice on the next visit. - Cookie banner choice — also in
localStorageso the banner doesn't reappear once you've responded to it. - No third-party cookies. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising trackers.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and IP-anonymised. It counts page views and top routes in aggregate. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no profile building.
If you send me a message
The contact form on /connect is delivered to my inbox via Formspree. Your message and email address are transmitted to Formspree for delivery and stay in my inbox afterwards. I never share contact details with anyone, and I don't add senders to any mailing list.
Hosting + logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel keeps short-lived edge access logs (IP address, user agent, requested path) for operational purposes — debugging, DDoS protection, abuse mitigation. These logs roll off automatically per Vercel's retention policy and are not used for tracking.
